Two Very Uplifting New Year Messages

I received two wonderful e-mails from dear friends today.

One sent a list:

Top 10 Beliefs of the Great Ones

1. I cannot fail; I can only learn and grow

2. Everything happens for a reason

3. All you can do is all you can do

4. Every experience makes me stronger

5. Happiness is a choice

6. Happiness is a state of mind

7. People are inherently good

8. The world is a beautiful place

9. Anything is possible

10. Success is a choice

I agree with all of them. As I look forward to the next 364 days, I remind myself that the year before us is overflowing with endless, new possibilities.   I have chosen to focus on passion rather than resolutions, realizing change can occur any day, any time during this yet to be discovered New Year.

I look forward to it with the rediscovered wonder of my childhood.  I’ve learned my expectations of what I can and will accomplish is the difference between fulfilling my dreams, and dwelling in failure.  In keeping with the wisdom of the ages, quoting noted author, Alan Cohen, “Bring a big cup for the New Year to fill. “

Another dear friend sent this link to me today, as an uplifting message for the New Year.  It touched me deeply.  I hope you will enjoy it, too.
